Starting with 1.7.2, we got reports like:

Programmer (programming track, basic or comprehensive)

  • can read, write, etc. all pages, if bottom row of buttons is
    clicked. Doesn't work though if
the upper row of buttons for single pages is clicked. Program
    thinks for a while, the
buttons grey out and it throws the following error.
    "Exception occurred during event
    dispatching:java.lang.StackOverflowError"

This looks like a new bug, unless I've done something wrong
(always a possibility).

Ok I having a problem with 1.7.2. RR computer running
Win98SE, Chief,
LocoBuffer, and PowerPax. Programming on the top line, "Read
full sheet",
etc. will bomb the computer or at least JMRI (it did cause a
reinstall and
reboot once). Read/write the second line "Read All", etc. works
just fine.
Tested with Hexfile and it does the same. What is interesting is
that this
computer running Win98 (not connected to anything RR) works
just fine using
Hexfile.
Reloaded 1.7.1 and it seems to work just fine.

Is this an known problem and I just missed reading about
it???????????
