Buildwrapper output tab is flooded with 'Module not part of module graph' #65

@nponeccop

I have a lot of identical messages in Console/BuildWrapper output for project tab:

Module not part of module graph
Module not part of module graph
Module not part of module graph
Module not part of module graph

It is not indicated which module causes the problem.

@neothemachine

Me too

This is a GHC error, which doesn't give the name of the module. I could look into catching that error and at least dumping the module that we're trying to load. Do you have more info on when it happens?

@neothemachine

Not really, everytime I hit save in any file it compiles the project and always outputs that since some days. I can't re-track what change I made... But I guess it's only a minor cabal config problem or something. The module name would help though.

@neothemachine

Actually, I just noticed that I can reproduce this behaviour. Just checkout my project at https://github.com/neothemachine/adp-multi (master branch) and you should get a working build but lots of those messages.

I think it's the usage database generation that takes every possible file, but a lot of file are not modules to take into account. Removed the message in that case.

@neothemachine

I think this can be closed. I didn't experience any problems related to that anymore.

Getting the same error on a clone of https://github.com/ekmett/speculation in Tests.hs on first line:

Tests.hs is not referenced at all by the cabal file, so this is probably quite normal, since EclipseFP works using the cabal info.
