Login methods

If one login method fails for some reason there are ways to get around them. Currently there are three ways to login using Idle Master Extended: Quick-login, entering credentials (username and password) and by entering your Steam cookies.

Credentials

Enter your Steam credentials, and potentially your Steam Guard code (if you have protected your account)

Cookies

One quick way to make it work without going through the login process is to extract the cookie data you have on the Steam webpage and paste it into Idle Master.

1. Login to the official Steam website
2. Find your cookie data (Press F12 > Application > Cookies > Select the Steam website)

3. Open the settings window (File > Settings) in Idle Master Extended and click on the lock symbol to display the authentication data fields

4. Copy and paste the cookie data from your browser into the fields:
   • sessionid
   • steamLoginSecure
   • (steamParental is typically not required)
