Thanks for the changes. oneAPI.jl failure looks related, again... Any thoughts? Otherwise I'll have a closer look later this week. |

But the failure is in statistics.jl, right? Actually the same test failed for master as well. |

This partially addresses #91 by providing methods for diagonal matrices.
