Welcome! This document explains some of the ways you can contribute to JuMP.

## Code of Conduct

This project and everyone participating in it is governed by the
[JuMP Code of Conduct](https://github.com/JuliaOpt/JuMP.jl/blob/master/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md).
By participating, you are expected to uphold this code. Please report
unacceptable behavior to the [Julia Community Stewards](https://julialang.org/community/stewards/).

This last sentence is a bit of a downer. Can we just drop it? The code of conduct already discusses the community stewards.

Is there a way to use relative links instead of pointing to the master branch?

You can also reach out in the [developer chatroom](https://gitter.im/JuliaOpt/JuMP-dev)
with questions about how to get started.

## Any concerns?

The code of conduct and the contributing guide should both be in the same directory. Either the root or .github seems fine to me.
