feature request: nanometer scalebar

It looks like the scalebar/ruler always shows the scale in micrometers. For more modern tech nodes it would be nice to have a nanometer scale. This would probably only require a text formatting change.

What dbu do the latest processes use ?
More than 2000 dbu/um ?
Given that for TSMC's n2 process the routing pitch is 23nm (0.0230um) and 0.1nm (0.0001um) is the size of an atom:
Is it safe to assume that the "text formatting change" you want is 4 digits after the . ?

A sorry, I should've been more specific. What I meant is that it'd be nice to print the sizes in nanometers and not micrometers. So 40nm instead of 0.040um. In this case I am specifically talking about the scale bar in the bottom left of the layout editor.
Honestly this is just more of a visual thing, technically it is exactly the same. Printing things in nanometers (when appropriate) just signals to the user "yes we support these smaller sizes".

What dbu does the process you're using use ?
Why display nm scales when they're smaller than the database units ?
It might be helpful to have the cursor jump in dbu once zoomed in that far, no ?

I am switching to nm units now if the value is below 0.1µm

Correspondingly it will switch to mm above 100µm and even to meters further up. I did not include km or Parsecs, as I think that meters should be good enough for a full wafer.
