Would it be possible to run .lnk instead of the target, as it seems to do now?
Example: I have a shortcut to a .bat set to run as admin, but when launching the shortcut it runs without admin (exploring the item opens the folder where the .lnk is.

Currently shortcut's command line arguments are prepended to the ones you specified during the search instance, if any. The Run as Administrator option is indeed omitted in this inheritance, this will be supported in a future release.
