CTRL+BACKSPACE doesn't delete selected text #302

This is a usability problem, CTRL+BACKSPACE should delete selected text same as BACKSPACE. The logic is that you could select a word or two, and then quickly want to delete the words. If you wanted to stay in word mode all throughout, you couldn't. It's a a modal modifier, it's enhancing the action of backspace.

Have you tried with Alt+Left? Undoable with Alt+Right

Pressing CTRL-BACKSPACE should erase "chrome".

This should be fixed in v2.19
