it asked to set the clock to 4:20. I put both hands on the 4 and was told it was incorrect. Wondering if my 60 + years of telling time were wrong, or that the advent of digital watches had somehow changed the reality of time, I checked your "show steps" hints, which told me that both hands go to the 4.

Wow. And people wonder why kids can't tell time today. (Ok, yes he has a point about digital timepieces there.)
The last hints explain that the hour hand moves past the 4 as the hour progresses and tells the user the hour hand gets set at 1/3 of the way past 4.
realbug
need to find a way to help user understand that the hour hand doesn't stay in one spot for a whole hour (video????)
(has Sal done a video on time? Maybe one that explains how the hands on a clock work?)
