Kheffy Cervantez - @KheffyC

Hi, I'm Kheffy - a full-stack software engineer currently working for JDH, an enterprise Grain and Feed Factory in California. I am self-taught and later went on to graduate from General Assembly's Software Engineering Program where I learned best practices for development. I spend most weeknights teaching high school percussion class and on the weekends I'm an entertainment drummer for the LA Kings and an instructor for Dark Sky Percussion - a non-profit organization based in Corona, CA. I am currently focused on Ruby on Rails but work on side projects that include AlpineJS and/or React!

How I work

My motivations are to be part of a company that helps steer all generations toward technology. That tends to manifest in helping small businesses create websites for better outreach, or volunteering to help out those who can't afford progression. If there's a way to help, I will.
