Collection filter is reset when switching recent requests (top menu)

Expected Behavior

Collection stays filtered by filter text as long as a filter text is there.

Actual Behavior

Collection filter is reset when browsing through recent requests or closing any of them (top menu).
meaning: You see all requests of the collection, but the filter you have used is still displayed.
So it seems that a filter is applied, but it isn't.

Reproduction Steps

Having multiple Requests in the collection.
Apply a filter so that only a subset is displayed.
Open some of the requests (now you have them in top menu of recent requests)
optional: change filter and open any of those requests too
Select any of the open requests and close it

Is there an existing issue for this?

Which sync method do you use?

• Git sync.
• Insomnia Cloud sync.
• Local only

It's a major bug for me ...
It has been for some version now ... but yep, I have a LOT of requests and not having an easy way to refresh the search (or keep it steady) is a pain in the a** !

My usage is now :

1. Change query with tab
2. Delete last character in search
3. Re-enter last character in search

No biggy but a real pain.

I can attest, UX wise it's really repellent and make you want move to other solutions..
