@thomas-a

Tested version: Kronuz-pyScss-v1.1.4-11-gd8f4da2

Send the following input to pyScss:

div {
    &img {
        display: block;
    }
}

Note that there's no space between & and img. This will result in:

divimg{display:block}

SASS on the other hand will insert a space between "div" and "img".

@funkybob

Surely you don't need the & to get "div img" ?

div {
    img {
        display: block;
    }
}

would be the "proper" way to achieve this?

According to http://sass-lang.com/try.html your construct is invalid:

Sass Error: Invalid CSS after " &": expected "{", was "img {"

"img" may only be used at the beginning of a selector.
