Protect Attachments breaks PDFs in messages

To Reproduce

Set Protect Attachments to Yes
Upload and insert a pdf in a message

Expected behavior
The pdf should be available in the message (depending on the browser either visible or downloadable)

Actual result
Some browsers show only a empty field
Firefox shows "This browser does not support PDFs. Please download the PDF to view it: Download PDF"
But if you click on Download PDF you get a error 404 Category not found

Next step of reproduce

Set Protect Attachments to No
Go in the frontend again to this topic and check the pdf

Actual result
The pdf is broken

Kunena version: 5.1.7 and 5.1.8-dev
Php version: 7.2.11
Database version: 5.5.8

Opera

Additional context
If you allow pdf, it's not possible to use protect attachments. Maybe we should exclude pdfs from protect attachments?
