Welcome to the jiran-breakoff wiki!

Jiran - is a 6x4 matrix ergo keyboard with additional 3 thumb and 1 pinky keys.

Jiran was designed to increase typing speed and protect hands from tunnel syndrome.

Jiran also contain all cyrillic alphas.

  • Supports 2 and 5 pin mount for switches

  • Supports 1 color in switch led backlight

Lineup

  • jiran-classic: Classic version, support MX, Alps and Choc switches, and one color THT LEDs.
  • jiran-hotswap: Hotswappable version for MX switches, have no any LEDs.
  • jiran-cherry: Cherry verison, support only MX switches, have no any LEDs, easy to build.

Firmware

Now Jiran is officially support by QMK.

Setup firmware build environment following the instructions here.

You can use QMK Toolbox for flashing default firmware.

For create your own layout use QMK Configurator or VIA
