Layer Control on stock Android 4.1.2 selects first entry when touched

After opening the layer control by touching, it selects inadvertedly one of the first entries, leading to instant map changes. Not always, but in ~90%.

Observed on a Samsung GS II, not happening with Firefox, Chrome or Opera.

I confirm this, IIRC it happens sometimes on IE10 touch as well.

Yes probably. There's a fix/hack available that helps with click on markers, but it's not applied to Layer Control, and zoom buttons.

So in Android 4.1, when you hit the zoom + button for example, it will zoom in twice.

I just don't show zoom buttons on Android 4+ since pinch zoom is available.

Additional info:

It's rather hard to select overlays on Android by using checkboxes because each attempt selects, then instantly de-selects the choice. Seems really to be an event firing errounusly twice. Observed on an up-to-date Nexus 7, map shown in a web view.

Besides that, the checkboxes and radiobuttons are quite hard to hit by finger because they are rather small. May be the size should be dependant on the device-type and/or display-density (see http://developer.android.com/guide/webapps/targeting.html).

Should be fixed on Android 4.2, not sure about 4.1.2 — guys, could you check the latest master with your use cases?
