Moving circleMarkers does not move open popups

I'd expect the popup to move with a circleMarker. A marker can be moved by setting its location via setLatLng.

For me this seems to work fine right now... go to debug/vector/vector-simple and try this in the console after clicking the marker to get the popup visible.

 marker.setLatLng(map.getCenter())

Or did you mean something else?

Hey @snkashis. I made a mistake. It works with markers but it doesn't work with circle markers. I changed the description.

marker = L.circleMarker([51.5, -0.09]).bindPopup("I'm a circle marker").addTo(map);
//and then
marker.setLatLng(map.getCenter())

I know this is slightly more difficult because the popup does not necessarily appear in the center of the circle.

Similar issue seems to be present when calling:

map.fitBounds(bounds);

Maybe I'm doing things wrong but here is the context: a circle marker is placed on the map with a popup binded to it. Inside the popup content, in addition to information about the marker, a "Zoom in" link triggers a javascript function that uses the location of the marker and call map.fitBounds();

The map center and zoom level is updated, the circle marker is moved accordingly, but the popup binded to the marker doesn't move.
