ImageOverlay opacity option

I would like to know if there is an option to set some opacity for the imageoverlay. I'm trying to get some transparency in a jpg file and I can not do it.

Hi, I plan to add this soon, meanwhile you can use the following hack:

layer._image.style.opacity = 0.5;
