When executing node-gyp rebuild --target=1.6.2 --arch=x64 --dist-url=https://atom.io/download/atom-shell in node_modules/leveldown I get the error g++: error: unrecognized command line option ‘-m64’.

There seems to be some info here: Theano/Theano#3544

Here's my install log:

https://gist.github.com/sabrehagen/93b4fdd087fe1a8952a88d5f602d64b7

My OS details are:

Distributor ID:	Raspbian
Description:	Raspbian GNU/Linux 8.0 (jessie)
Release:	8.0
Codename:	jessie

Apologies I can't provide a fix myself, but this isn't my area of expertise.

I found my error was caused by the architecture I was using. I supplied --arch=x64 when trying to compile on a Raspberry Pi with an ARMv8 CPU. Changing to --arch=armv7 fixed the issue.
