Hi,

I have installed LibreCAD 2.0.0.alpha1 builded from source, using git.

When I have opened only one subwindow then from PrintPriview I get always maximised subwindow.

If I have opened two or more subwindows then from PrintPriview of second, third etc. subwindow I get always subwindows in 'restore down' state (not maximised and not minimised but that state between). From PrintPriview of first subwindow (when there are more subwindows opened) I get always maximised subwindow.

However when I click on the Print Preview button the button doesn't stay pushed and from the Print Preview I have to click on it twice to close Print Preview; click for the first time does nothing but the button stay 'pushed' and the second click close the Print Preview and the button come to the 'unpushed' state.

Is this a bug?

This is definitely a bug.

I can't reproduce your other problem. Can you give me an explicit step-by-step to reproduce? The whole MDI architecture handles very weirdly, but I can't see what you mean exactly (I'm on Windows 7 btw)

I can try.

This being happen on my Debian GNU/Linux SID.

  1. Start LibreCAD.
  2. Create say several circles and save this document. This single window is in maximized state.
  3. Click on the Print Preview button. The Print Preview button doesn't remain in 'pushed' (or 'clicked') state but I get the Print Preview of circles.
  4. Click again on the Print Preview button and it remain in 'pushed' state. The Print Preview window remain, doesn't get closed.
  5. Click again on the Print Preview button and the Print Preview window get closed, and the Print Preview button come back in to the 'unpushed' state, and the 'circle' subwindow remain in the maximized state.
  6. Create a new document and draw there say rectangles. Save this document. We have now two subwindows in maximized state.
  7. Click on the Print Preview button. The Print Preview button doesn't remain in 'pushed' (or 'clicked') state but I get the Print Preview of rectangles.
  8. Click again on the Print Preview button and it remain in 'pushed' state. The Print Preview window remain, doesn't get closed.
  9. Click again on the Print Preview button and the Print Preview window get closed, and the Print Preview button come back in to the 'unpushed' state, but the 'rectangle' subwindow get in 'unmaximized' state. I expect that that this subwindow get in maximized state.

That is it.

I can't reproduce it neither. Using windows with version 1.0.0 the behaviour is the expected one (including the preview button keeping pushed itself). On linux the only problem I found is the print preview button not keeping pushed for the first time, as described by csanyipal.

The rest of the described scenario is not reproducible with version 1.0.

Will take a look and study the code to see if I can solve the issue with the print preview button.

'The rest of the described scenario is not reproducible with version 1.0.'
But is reproducible with version 2.0.0.alpha1 builded from source.

'But is reproducible with version 2.0.0.alpha1 builded from source.'

Sorry, but my last comment was not very exact. I've tested it on Linux from source with latest branch from github (so I think I'm checking with version 2.0.0.alpha1 too), and the only problem I can reproduce is related to the print preview button not keeping pushed the first time you click on it, needing a second one. Researching on it.

I can't reproduce the rest of the scenario, as commented :)

After I read your's comment I did 'git pull' and then 'qmake librecad.pro && make' and run this librecad again.
Still I can reproduce all the scenario. How can that happen on my Debian SID system here?

Uhmmm, Debian SID...

Could you please exec this command and paste here the output?

dpkg -la | grep libqt

Yes, the output is here: http://paste.debian.net/152165/
