Yes, exactly. Btw. I don't think it will open a 2 channel profile for 2 channels only - sadly. It will do the same I did manually in kodi. E.g. map only the channel needed, but be a bit more intelligent about finding matches, but don't output audio on all available output channels.

I implemented it, so that we can go back to PA server standards on versions > 11. PA is a soundserver in the end, we should not do too much to interfer with it - user has the system-wide choice.
