Thanks @Raybuntu.
The main issue was wrong DVB standard shown in settings (DVB-C tuner shows up as DVB-S/S2). Not sure if tuner actually worked or not.

It is working for me with old and new driver on DVB-S/S2 and combined DVB-C/DVB-T tuner.

I will test it with my stick later just to double check. The xmlstarlet change is necessary for Kodi Leia anyway otherwise it won't work with version 2.
