Arm has conquered the mobile world and competed in the server market, but the desktop, especially the Linux desktop remains elusive. What does Arm need to succeed on the desktop? We are System76 and we make hardware for Linux. We are going to discuss, from a dedicated Linux hardware vendor's PoV some of the technical, social, and market challenges facing Arm in the Linux desktop.
