Gold Text Gimp Plugin

WARNING
If you have an old version of my GEGL Effects Layer Effects plugin before May 2023 this will break GEGL Effects, once this plugin is installed. Check to make sure the version of GEGL Effects you are using was released May 2023 or onward. If not update here to the latest version.

To confirm test if GEGL Effects is working after the update, install Gold Text binaries and then see if “inner glow and or bevel” in GEGL Effects still work. If they are not, the update in the link above will fix GEGL Effects.

This is where you can downloaded precompiled binaries to use the plugin.

dll is for Windows and .so is for Linux - all six binaries needed for this plugin to work are in zip folders. "GIMP_GOLD_WINDOWS" and "GOLD_GOLD_LINUX" for each respected OS.

Source Code
For some reason the auto Github generated source code of this filter is outdated. So please use the updated source code I provided here named source_code_of_gold_text.zip

Then Restart Gimp and go to GEGL Operations to find the plugin. If you use Gimp 2.99.16 it will be under filters>text styling.
