[Feature] Traditional app switching for multitasking

There should be an option to disable the LiveContainer multitasking UI while keeping the functionality enabled in the background. Since using an app clip shortcut already keeps the shortcut active in the app switcher effectively simulating regular app switching, this approach could work seamlessly. This would allow me to switch apps using the standard iPhone app switcher while LiveContainer app clips remain active in the background, eliminating the wait time for the app to restart

You can already default mutlitask apps in full screen and have the dock dimmed on the side to hide the control bar. Closing individual apps will become impossible when UI is disabled entirely since clearing an app clip from app switcher does not terminate the corresponding multitask app.

That makes sense. What about adding a “pause app when not in use” or “preserve app state” toggle for shared apps? It could simulate how native apps preserve their state, letting me switch back to them quickly without reloading or relying on full multitasking.

I second this. Multitasking can be excessive when you just need to rapidly switch between two apps

App pausing and preserving app state is controlled by the iOS kernel, which LiveContainer has no control of.
