Feature request: Widget Disable Off-Line Message #444

  1. Admin log in and go in [Settings]
  2. Embed Code
  3. Live help embed code
  4. Widget embed code
  5. User should select Disable off-line form wih custom message and under this option a text box where the text can be edited and the possibility to insert a link.

So user when are redirected on contact form or no live support is avaiable user can't write in any field and are not able to leave any message, only can read a message in the widget, a customized message like : " Our support are open from Monday to.. from 8 AM to 6 PM. Please contact us from the Contact page or [click here]. "

Sorry, decided do not implement it. Just overhead. There is option to redirect user instantly then he clicks on offline form widget.

Thank you remdex for looking into this, I understand the function who you talk about, I have suggested to implement this because offline widget redirect can work also if the operator is chatting with a customer and chat is set to offline so if the visitor try to move from widget to pop up and from pop up to widget the visitor and the operator lost the chat for redirection. But it's OK.

Also if the operator redirect chat manually to the contact form user are able to leave a message in the live chat contact form and not see the desidered closing chat message SO there are two problem with widget offline redirect

  1. Can loose chat if live support go offline and visitor still chatting and decide to change from widget to pop up and from widget again.
  2. Is not fully possible disable offline message with a custom message because if operator can't reply to the chat or all operator are busy user is redirected to live helper contact form and so can't disabled the leave message form in this case.. user will be able to contact.

With the function to have a custom message active and offline contact form disabled all this "issues" are not present.
