Number of user handles reaches 10,000 for some users #1867
Comments
Hi, I have this issue also and confirmed that when right clicking on LiveSplit, the number of user handles goes up from between 10-200 or so. It then caps out at near 10,000 and then eventually spills over the limit. I went back through LSplit versions and 1.8.9 does not have this issue for me, repeated right clicks brings the user objects to around 75/80 at max. I did not have DS4Windows installed, but I did have another controller input mapping program installed, uninstalling it did not resolve my issue however. |
@MeMTB Could you try unchecking "Allow Gamepads as Hotkeys" and see if you still have the issue? |
Hmm I can't seem to find that option, but as an update since I posted this 1.8.9 has started shooting to 10,000 user objects almost as soon as it launches, and 1.8.16 has started taking longer to get there. It's almost like alternating between them slows (but does not eliminate) the issue. |
@MeMTB That option is under the hotkey settings. It should only be there in 1.8.16, not in 1.8.9. |
I can confirm disabling the "Allow Gamepad as Hotkeys" serves as a work around for the issue. #2146 suggests an incompatibility with DS4Windows, specifically the HidHide and ViGEmBus that it uses. |
