- Learn how to structure and customize Category Options, Categories, Category Combinations for Data Elements in DHIS2.
- Learn best practices in creating Options, Categories, Category Combinations, and Data Elements.
Now that you have created a basic Data Element, let's learn how to break them down into finer categories. It may be useful to create preset categories if standard indicators are broken down by groups (e.g. age < 5, and age >5 are reported separately). Doing so will create data bins within DHIS2 and speed up data analysis.
