Thanks. I got in contact with him. I can't believe how much nicer this new process is.

    Update docs to explain reset behavior of reading the fold seed
@LukeHoersten

@dcoutts how do I contact the hackage admins? I have this problem as well. It's been a big pain for quite a while now for me.

@LukeHoersten

I'm not familiar with autocomplete but an async complete hook is generic enough that any autocomplete functionality could use it.

@LukeHoersten

Is there a fix for this yet? I'm still having the problem.

    Fixed seq id producing bug. Streams.outputFoldM resets on read.
@LukeHoersten

Right that seems like the way to go: improve the hook by adding an async version so auto-complete and company can both use that. Sounds good @geraldus

@LukeHoersten

Hmm definitely looks inconsistent. Thanks for the investigation. Have a PR to clean it up? @gracjan may know the history of why it's like this.

@LukeHoersten

Is there a way to decouple the async completion hook from the company-mode dependency? I think we'd like haskell-mode not to depend on external mod…

@LukeHoersten

So if I understand correctly, you're saying you're basically disabling repl-based completion and forcing company to just complete from the TAGS?

@LukeHoersten

I think that's the right approach Steve. Moving it to the Haskell github would alleviate a lot of the questions I've seen too about what's the offi…

Make a OPTIONS_GHC yasnippet completion
@LukeHoersten

Yes this is definitely still a problem. Until I saw this just now I didn't know it was related to YAS.

@LukeHoersten

This is still an issue and since this is my code I'll try to figure out what's going on.

I actively maintain both shnippet and haskell-yas (they are the same just a rename). The reason it was originally moved into haskell-mode was becau…
