Currently MAL-Sync doesnt work for movies on Jellyfin unless they are made to seem like series (Movie Folder Name -> Season -> Movie File (Marked As Episode 1)). Placed within a season folder etc. this leads to the below scenes along with make it harder to correctly get metadata to come in and is not the standard way its suggested to organise your movies.
Jellyfin has dedicated movie pages as seen below, which are created using the correct format recommended by Jellyfin (Movie Folder Name -> Movie File) but at present MAL-Sync does not work with them. From some digging in the console while having a movie play it does seem that MAL-Sync knows a movie is playing but doesn't track etc.
