I've always loved creating software but I found traditional web development platforms so cumbersome and inelegant that I guided my career towards network engineering opportunities instead. This all changed in 2007 when I discovered dynamic programming through Ruby and the elegance and productivity of the Rails framework. Wielding this newfound power I started bringing web development back into my professional life. I feed off the thrill of a test suite passing after an epic refactor. I read my Github news feed like a morning paper. I am looking for a company that understands the importance of maintainable code, subscribes to an agile behavior-driven philosophy and maintains a culture that allows me to continually improve my skills. I am looking for a company where my contributions will benefit clients and the Rails community alike. If this sounds like your organization I would love to speak with you.
