NEI Chunk grid and Mob Spawn Marks still not working. #334

I have gone from 531 to most recent 537 builds and none of them allow the proper rendering of the grids or marks with F7 and F9, they work fine if I don't have MPS installed, but with any version of MPS 531-537 which is all I have checked so far, they do not render properly.

I can see them partly if I look at certain angles/directions, and they move with the camera, they are never on the ground where they belong, its almost like MPS is causing them to become unglued and sync'd to a point a view that is attached to the camera or something.

I have seen several posts on this in your MC forums and NEI's but no one ever seems to respond to us that post about it.

Here is a screen of the F7 spawn marker render with mps installed, and I did just try all back to 513 still getting same issue.

Works fine for me. I have heard reports from others on my server (same exact pack) of this issue, so it's probably a buggy driver/GPU issue.

Any suggestions? I have a Radeon HD6950 2GB Video card, and driver update did not seem to fix it, I wasn't that behind on driver update, but decided to try it as you had some experience with it. maybe I need to tweak something on my card settings? It's just weird that it worked fine for me till MC 1.5.2, Also I do not have Optifine installed, should I have it?

this is kind of a known issue, try turning off shaders in the config

Same problem here and turning off shaders also fixed it. (FYI ATI Radeon 6770M)

yeah but turning off the shaders also turns off the pretty lights :(

I too have been having this issue, I have tested different versions of MPS, and only have Forge, ChickenChunks, NEI and MPS installed to ensure there are no other mods causing any conflicts. 0.7.0-500 works fine with NEI Chunk and Mob spawn overlays but in 0.7.0-505 it was like the screen shot Devastatio posted.
I can also confirm that turning off shaders in the config does work for me

Hi. I can't see mob overlay neither chunck boundaries in NEI 1.6.1.8. Modular Power Suite is up to date (1.6.4). How do you disable shaders in Nvidia Control Panel please ? I can't find this setting.

EDIT : Alright. I figured it ot myself from here http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/909223-164-smp-chickenbones-mods/page__st__14700#entry23798706

But it didn't work for me since the Use Pixel/Vertex Shaders" was already set on "false". I had to disable Optifine to make it work.
