  1. Update and improve German translation

    memowe committed Feb 28, 2017
This is a squashed commit of a quite long development process which was
recorded in git step by step. See the detailed commit history below:

    Reword German title

The former version, "Ein grafischer Spickzettel für Git" translates to
"a graphical cheat sheet for git", which is a reasonable title for the
document, but has a different meaning than the English original. As I
would not support semantic differences between different translations,
    I tend to discard it.

The exact translation would be "Eine visuelle Git-Referenz" (note the
hyphen). The use of "visuell" in this context appears more often in
scientific environments and therefore sounds quite formal. Another
possible adjective would be "bildlich" ("Eine bildliche Git-Referenz")
    which sounds even worse. ;-)

I prefer this new title, "Eine Git-Referenz in Bildern", which translates
to "A git reference in pictures".

Reword German SVG graphics control text

I tried to move the translation closer to the original text. Also note
that hyphens are not optional in compound nouns.

    Reword German introduction text

Add reference to D3 page to German translation

    Reword German basic usage headline

"Grundlegende Benutzung" sounds very weird in German. As the better
translation "Grundlagen der Benutzung" seems a little formal, I decided
to use "Grundlagen", which translates to "basics".

Reword technical notes headline in German translation

WIP: Add walkthrough to German translation

Use "Grafiken" instead of "Bilder" in SVG control

Incorporate feedback from @mafulafunk to PR
    MarkLodato/visual-git-guide#54

As the graphics are indeed (sort of) formal graphs, it makes a lot of
sense to describe them as "Graphiken" in German.

Use "graphisch" instead of "bildlich" in description

Incorporate feedback from @mafulafunk to PR
    MarkLodato/visual-git-guide#54

Use the informal "Du" instead of the formal "Sie"

Incorporate feedback from @mafulafunk to PR
    MarkLodato/visual-git-guide#54

    Cleanup German basic usage formatting

Use "Dateien" instead of "files" in commands

As the word "files" itself is not a part of the command, it makes no
sense to not translate is, especially when there's a reference to it in
    the command explanation.

  1. Fix positioning of 'git diff b325c da985' arrow.

    MarkLodato committed Mar 4, 2016
My last commit (dd3b538) was sloppy...

Thanks for the third time to @Atcold for the quick fix!
  2. Fix arrows for 'git diff <commit> <commit>'.

    MarkLodato committed Mar 4, 2016
I was wrong about the arrows in 2cc935: the original arrows were
consistent with the original text, it was simply that doing the diff was
the opposite of what you'd usually do.

Thanks again to @Atcold for helping me understand.
  3. Fix order of args to 'git diff <commit> <commit>'.

    MarkLodato committed Mar 4, 2016
The correct order is <from> <to>. (The arrows were already correct,
since the non-arrowhead side is the "from" and the arrowhead side is the
    "to".)

Thanks to @Atcold for the suggestion!
