As title goes.

Reported by one of our teacher in ECN.
French comment was:
« onglet projets -> création d'un nouveau projet

  • lorsque les dates de rendu par section sont activées, la liste des sections n'est pas dans l'ordre »

Should they be listed alphabetically?

Maybe we could order them (in the assignment page) by due date (if due date is set) or, (if due date is not set) by name.

@arkon94 can you order the assignments by due date wherever a list of assignments appears? I feel like this is already the case, but it would be good to check.

@benjaminvialle I believe the Due Date is a required field, so I don't know that an assignment wouldn't have a set due date.

EDIT: please ignore comment.

I believe the section due dates are initially sorted by name, then by their due dates after you've set them.

Okay, please ignore my previous comment - I somehow completely missed that we're talking about sections. Personally, I prefer sorting the sections by name, regardless of due date. @reidka what do you think?

This feature is primarily used at ECN where they frequently have different due dates for the different sections. I'd be happy with always sorting them by name, but @benjaminvialle might know better.

@arkon when no due dates are selected, sections should be sorted by name. When due dates are set, sections should be sorted by due dates.

Thank you :)

Just checked: the sections seem to appear in order of when they were created:
