From Byron:

The list of rubric criteria can be reordered, which is really slick. It would be nice to do the same with the annotation categories.

The way is done now for criteria will be deprecated in Rails 4, so we probably need to come up with a different approach for both.

I'm planning on using this to implement the sortable lists for both rubrics and annotations.

It looks like it might not be maintained any more.
My main question was whether (and how) it remember the ordering for everyone once it has been changed.

I'll need to replace the one on the Rubric Criteria page too, since it relies on Prototype.

The good thing is I already have an implementation of the sortable list, just need to hook it up with Rails so that it saves and all that good stuff! http://echeung.me/markus-style/#tables
