Mirrors are currently point to point. One remote to one mirror for it. This feature is to add rules. For example, replace all calls to https://github.com/ to https://my-github-mirror.example.com.
IMO, it would be preferable to allow regex rewrites, rather than swapping in one domain for another. The requirements described in #372 would not be met by this, but rewrites would cover everything this could do.
