Installation fails without github credentials

The README shows the gh login prerequisite step, but the gitfetch brew installation also asks for username/password before installing and the formulat installation fails if not provided.

Why is this the case? Is it possible to install this package and only rely on the already authenticated gh user?

Note: this looks very cool, just trying to understand the process. I following the readme but coudn't find details about this.
