README

Clean is a simple script for removing temporary files created by
common text editors, like emacs. Clean is a shell-script interpreted
by the zsh shell.

Clean will remove any file with a name ending with the '~' character
(event the hidden files) and any file with a name starting and ending
with the character '#'.
e.g, the following files will be deleted by clean:
foo~
.bar~
#baz#

but not the following:
.#quux#

Clean has two options:
  - '-v' (verbose): print the path of each deleted files
  - '-r' (recursive): recursively descend directories

Note that clean will not descend directories on other filesystems.
