When hovering the cursor over the edge of the ConEmu window, the default Windows window border will appear and remain until the cursor is moved away, resizing the ConEmu window to accommodate the border. This is an issue when the window is expect to remain a certain size, e.g., when using 100% width.

The attached screenshots show a ConEmu window before mouseover and resize, during mouseover, and after a mouseover and resize.

ConEmu window before mouseover:

ConEmu window during mouseover:

ConEmu window after mouseover:

ConEmu build: 161206 Stable x64
OS version: Windows 7 x64 6.1.7601
Used shell version: CMD (Admin)

I just realized that this issue is exclusive to Quake style given how the Windows border is always present without it enabled.

So that's what triggers it. This has been driving me nuts for a while and I never figured out just why it happened.

A possible workaround is to set the frame delay. That way it doesn't happen as often.

That reduces the extent of the issue, but it still happens consistently.

@Maximus5, I just came across this Super User answer of yours from 2012 where you state the following:

It is possible to resize window with mouse, while frame is completely hidden (just hold mouse cursor over place where frame must be, and frame will appears). Or from keyboard (look an Settings/Keys).

That sure sounds an awful lot like the issue we're dealing with here. Maybe you could add a checkbox option for this feature, allowing it to be disabled?

I think it would fit nicely under Quake style > ConEmu window frame options.
