Mouse cursor stuck with Putty

Problem description

This behavior change was noticed for me when I upgraded from 170709 to 171205. When the mouse moves into ConEmu from either the left or right sides with Putty, the cursor icon gets stuck on the resize icon.

I tried all ConEmu versions over the last six months. The issue started on version
171203. It is not present in version 171117 or earlier.

In case it's helpful, I updated to 180108, but did not see a change in behavior.

Same issue in 180206 alpha (on both Win XP and Win 7). If I bring the cursor into the ConEmu PuTTY window via the window's tab, the cursor is fine. From either window edge, or a corner, the cursor is a "window resize" cursor. (It still works, but it's distracting, and it's more difficult to pinpoint the cursor's hotspot.)
