Versions

ConEmu build: 180130+ x64
OS version: Windows Server 2008 R2 x64
Used shell version: Far Manager 3.0 (build 5135) x32

Problem description

title bar is invisible in ConEmu 180130+ on Windows Server 2008 R2. it shows part of a desktop instead of title bar.

i tried ConEmu 180130+ on Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows XP. the only affected OS is Windows Server 2008 R2. i have seven Windows Server 2008 R2 machines - the bug is reproducible on all of them.

Well, can you run ConEmu64.exe -log, reproduce the problem and upload LogFiles?

done:

ConEmu-logs.zip

the problem appears right after ConEmu + Far Manager start.

Not related to invisible titlebar:

@lowtrucks: on both of Your screenshots there are a 4px tall area at the bottom. On 2nd screenshot I see FAR is maximized - what is that dirt at the bottom then?

Please tell me how do You made these screenshots? (do You edited a fullscreen screenshot and accidentally crop them 4px larger at the bottom?)

I having a problem for a few weeks now: c.a. once a day ConEmu is shortened by 4px at the bottom when maximized. All running ConEmu instances get shortened when once this happens (!) Problem still exist when I restart ConEmu instances (!). I need to sign-out to kill this bug (!).

So, can You tell a tale about this bottom area? Is it there right after boot?

P.S.: ...I working on Windows 10

on both screenshots Far + ConEmu are maximized.

i made those screenshots with Alt+PrtSc; no editing.

Hm... When I make a screenshot with Alt-PrintScreen there are no additional dirt at the bottom.

I mean "dirt" as the bottom 4 lines of Your screenshots.

...yes, Alt-PrintScreen copies this space instead of the underlying app :T "nice"

On Win7 & 10 that space is 2px only.

@lowtrucks So what about your TaskBar? Do you have it at all? Seems like it is not set to auto hide, but I don't see it on screenshots.

@Maximus5: ALT+Printscreen copies only the active window to clipboard, so don't except a TaskBar.

lowtrucks attached screenshots are 1056 px tall (1080-24), so I also don't think that extra dirt is because of Auto-hiding TaskBar.

@lowtrucks: could You send 2 Printscreen snapshots (without ALT pressing) one with TaskBar at the bottom and another one with TaskBar at the left? Many thanks!

Под Windows 7 x64 такая же фигня, заголовок окна не показывается.

@Maximus5, i have standard task bar and it's not set to auto-hide.

you don't see it on screenshot, because it was made with Alt+PrtSc (only active window).

@lowtrucks: Thanks! Now I see that better to report maximized window screenshots by plain PrintScreen instead of Alt-PrintScreen.
