Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
Conemu 150813b [64]

maximized and fullscreen options work as expected with quake mode off.
window size is automatically changed to 85x25 when quake mode is turned off with Conemu running.

With quake mode enabled: the maximized option fits Conemu window to screen width. However the height is unchanged. Fullscreen mode is identical to maximized mode.

conemunormal
Conemu quake normal mode

conemumax
Conemu quake maximized AND fullscreen modes

This behaviour is identical using default Conemu settings.

Also - When quake mode is activated with Conemu running, window size is automatically increased by 12x5, and "Center console in workspace" option is enabled, keeping the console the same size. (Not a real issue, just slightly odd behaviour.)

Personally I love this feature. I rarely want my Quake style console to be full window height. And being able to just hit Win+Up to expand it to the width of the screen is very convenient.

Yeah, that's fair. I've ended up using it undocked now, so I can switch to fullscreen when I need to. Everyone wins! Although if it was/is possible to hotkey quake mode on/off, I would appreciate that.

It is! I have Alt+`` bound to enabling it, andAlt+Shift+`` bound to disabling it.

You need to go to keybinds, set up a key for one of the Macros, and then for the macro use:

ConEmuC -GuiMacro SetOption Check 2333 1

to turn on Quake mode and

ConEmuC -GuiMacro SetOption Check 2333 0

to turn it off

Thanks, that is appreciated! The only issue I have with this is that it enables 'Center console in workspace' each time you switch, which is crazy frustrating. I'm happy with my current ConEmu. I would switch back to quake mode if it became possible to snap the window to either width or fullscreen, though.

I would so love to have a way to make it start full-width in quake mode. The settings mention it should be saved, but I don't think it is right now.

I have it on startup, and as part of my every day routine I turn on my computer, show conemu, maximize it, hide it.

I've designated alt+enter to do restore, I can get the quake window like full width.

I read on stackoverflow two different ways to try and start ConEmu maximized but neither are working. This would be a great feature.
