ConEmu is randomly crashing applications, including Windows Explorer, apparently when trying to load or unload the hook DLL.

The error message is always very similar, only changing depending on the application that crashed. This is from Git Extensions:

ConEmuC64, PID=8668
ConEmuC64.X, PID=8668
Injecting remote into PID=500 from ParentPID=8768
FAILED, code=-100:0x00000000

Process: <Unknown>
Parent: ConEmu64.exe

Looking at Windows' Event Log, I found 2 entries (one as Error, one as Information) logged there for each crash like this. Here is the info for the crash above:

Faulting application name: GitExtensions.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x55565dce

The folder mentioned in Information event contains a file called Report.wer, which I can put on GDrive if it helps with diagnosing the problem. I also have the events for a previous crash from Windows Explorer, if required.

ConEmu isn't dumping any debug files on the Desktop for these errors, but if it eventually does, I'll supply them as well.

Build 151006. The effect would be noticable on the next update.

It seems to have improved, but I still get some occasional crashes in Windows Explorer. There is no error message, though; Windows Explorer simply says it crashed, closes and restarts.

I'll keep an eye out for further specifics, if I can, but I think this can be considered fixed.

I've been having a crashing issue that might be related to this one: whenever ConEmu updates, every process that I have listed under the "List of hooked executables" crashes and restarts, including Windows Explorer.

Here is the Event Viewer entry for the latest crash I've experienced just now, updating ConEmu to version 160313:

Faulting application name: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d672ee4
Faulting module name: ConEmuHk64.160310.dll_unloaded, version:, time stamp: 0x56e1ee28

Faulting module path: ConEmuHk64.160310.dll

I can open a new issue for this one if they're not related.
