When I use conemu with the quake style mode and have the taskbar icon hidden. I randomly get a small window box which cant be minimized. If I close it Conemu closes and I have to re-open it. It will work fine for a while and then the window will pop up again at some random interval.

What is the version of ConEmu? What is OS version?
Anyway, I don't think it's a ConEmu problem. Someone (may be OS) shows RealConsole in some weird way (even no min/max buttons there). ConEmu do not do these tricks.
CtrlWinAltSpace may hide it or not.
But LogFiles created for when the problem reproduced may be interesting.

Thanks for responding! Its win 8.1 and the version is currently running 151208. Its not too much of a bother but it doesnt follow any pattern I can see.

I took a new screenshot showing more of the screen. I will try to get logfiles later today.
