Versions

ConEmu build: 160612 x64
OS version: Windows 7 x64

Problem description

I. Is it possible to remove following line in CmdInit.cmd
set ConEmuPrompt0=$E[m$E[32m$E]9;8;"USERNAME"$E@$E]9;8;"COMPUTERNAME"$E$S

Reason: comemu is usually running for local, it's not necessary to display the username and hostname. especially when you want to copy paste info to internet and don't want to expose your username/hostname information

II. Is it possible to put CmdInit.cmd to user folder

Reason: keeping the file in program files folder is hard for user to customize, and maybe overwritten when it's updated

I. Just delete that line or comment it by writing "rem " at the beginning, because everything it's doing is displaying the username and hostname.

II. Maybe you should try creating a shortcut to it or to parent directory of it in some convenient place (like mentioned user folder)?
For overwriting problem, you could create backup of edited CmdInit.cmd file, and replace content of original file with that from backup after every update. On the other hand, it could require even more effort than removing this single line every time manually.

For the future - you should look at the comments above every line, because the whole CmdInit.cmd file is documented very well. For example, the one from your first question was described by "rem This will start prompt with User@PC". Very unambiguous, don't you think? ;)

The problem for part II is raised mainly due to difficulut do edit a "administrator's" file in program files directory, backup is a workaround but it would be good for author to change the file place. Obervious, the author has not yet considered letting users to customize this file.

I plan to use environment variable to modify CmdInit behavior.
