ConEmu version: 150305

Hi,

I pinned ConEmu to my taskbar in Win 8.1, and register my task definition in its jump
list.

See screenshots of my config.

In the settings, I checked the Active Console Only option. This works fine when the
1st shell launched via Win 8.1 taskbar jump list is *not* an elevated shell (see my
Task definition for example). Any shell launched afterwards will be merged in my single
win8.1 taskbar icon!

This does not work, i.e. there is a second icon appearing in my win8.1 taskbar, when
the 1st shell launched is an elevated shell. Any shell launched afterwards will be
merged in my duplicate win8.1 taskbar icon!

Thanks and keep up with the good work!

François

Hi, here you can see my windows taskbar before and after launching conemu, as well as
my jump list...

Besides, I noticed that I got the same unexpected behaviour when letting conemu automatically
update, even when not elevated!

There are no "two icons".
ConEmu can't control Windows taskbar behavior and can't fix its bugs.
Moreover, mentioned option in ConEmu settings does not relate to your problem.

On another computer, this behaves as expected... Same hardware, same OS, latest Windows
Updates. Could you at least help me to track the issue down in windows if conemu is
not the culprit? Where do I have to start looking? Thanks

The weird internal problem of Windows TaskBar... Hard to report, hard to fix, hard to
reproduce.

Pin new icon, unpin old one - helps in most cases
