Main change in this release is the introduction of a new MQTT library (NymphMQTT). This should increase stability and very much simplify compiling the application on all supported platforms.
A number of small tweaks and bug fixes were also introduced. As this is an alpha release, it's expected to be used for testing purposes prior to the release of v0.3.
Feel free to use the provided Windows installer for 64-bit platforms, or the Linux (x64) binary (BZipped). Note that the Linux binary requires that the Qt5 and LibPOCO dependencies have already been installed.
For this 0.2 release the following changes relatives to the alpha version were made:
- Windows release compiled with MinGW instead of Visual Studio.
- Small tweaks and fixes to hopefully fix some stability issues.
This release adds session support and a number of bug fixes.
It should now also be possible to use MQTT broker password- and certificate-secured connections, but this is so far untested.
