Webclient Generate Data

The option "Generate data" allows you to generate a random set of test data for specific modules and save them in your account on the server.

  • Server: Choose the server you want to run the test agains.

  • Output options: Here you can control which information you want to see in the event log.

  • Modules: Select for which modules you want to generate data.

  • Number of Entries: Select for how many days you want to generate data. E.g. if you enter 10, the tool will generate 10 days of test data. The test data are then added to your account as data for the last 10 days, so the first dataset can be found at "now-10 days". You cannot add more data then 100 datasets. Also some modules as "tracker activity and tracker sleep" generate a lot of data for one day, so it might take some time to upload them to your account.

The process flow is:

  1. Select the server you have your account on and where you want to add additional data.
  2. Select the modules you want to generate data for.
  3. Enter the number of days you want data to be generated for.
  4. Press submit and log into your account on the server. Allow the application to modify the data of your account.
  5. When comming back to the webclient interface, click the "add data" button. Depending on how many days you entered it might take some time to finish this process.
  6. View the log. Do not click the "add data" button again, unless you want to add another set of data.
