Trouble with alt+tab using windows10

Since a ( currently unknown ) Microsoft update from september , alt tabbing out of the game often destroys the input. If you alt tab back to the game you cannot press any key or click any button.
The strange thing is this only happens when you are in game. Everything works in the game menu.

I myself have no windows, I just try to describe the bug as good as I can from the reports I get.

Been having this issue since a recent Windows 10 update.

Alt+Tabbing between Windows seems to cause MG to reject any keyboard or mouse input when I return to the game. I have to switch back and forth between windows a 'random' amount of times for the game to accept input commands again.

So far the only fix I've seen is lowering the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1366x768. Wonder why that works?

Found a solution for this issue! It looks like it's related to the preinstalled xbox app.
Start -> Type "power" -> Right Click on "Windows Powershell" -> Run as Administrator
Enter the command
Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
and press Enter
Restart Megaglest

@biels Tried your suggested solution and it still doesn't work.

So far the only thing that works for me is if I switch the resolution down from 1920x1080 to 1366x768 in the options menu of the game and the alt tabbing works fine.

Tried this on Window 10 laptop running at 1920x1080, alt tab out to any app and come back and red cursor continues to display and work.

david123 told me today that the bug is gone for him. Is it fixed for anyone else suddenly ? IsshMG does it work for you too now ?

I tried it now and it is fixed for me. Well, I guess windows updates actually fix things sometimes!

I said nothing. It worked a few times but eventually it got stuck when alt-tabbing. I think it is the same behavior as before.
