When used with another mod, such as biomes o' plenty, Variant Vanilla Blocks crafting tables from the other mod will not have an orange cover, compared to the vanilla ones, as seen in this photo containing 2 vanilla wood tables on the left and 2 biomes o plenty wood ones on the right.

ok where is the "orange cover" located on? top or side?

I believe you meant this:

The cover is located on both the sides and the top. While it is mostly on the top, it does overlap onto the sides on the corners.
