Hey,

Just wondering... did anyone manage to localize the FastTrack Store frontend? Not the backend, which seems to work fine. But even though my site is running da-DK (Danish), all texts/label in models are shown in en-GB (English). I can see there there has been a couple of pull request towards adding resource files to the project, which have been rejected due to build issues.

Can I just add a resouce file (due to some naming convention) in the App_LocalResources-folder, if I want to translate the models of the frontend?

I am also interested on how to get this working.
As far I see the only way is to add translations in the Merchello.Web.Store project itself...

Does someone has an possible solution for this?
I have tried the following:

  • StoreFormsResource.en.resx in "App_GlobalResources"
  • Also tried within "Merchello/Web/Store/Localization" folder
  • StoreFormsResource.en.resx in "App_LocalResources"
  • Also tried within "Merchello/Web/Store/Localization" folder
  • StoreFormsResource.en.resx in "Merchello/Web/Store/Localization" within my own project
  • Mark it as "Resource", "Embedded Resource"

I verified that the current UICulture is set to "en" by checking: Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture.TwoLetterISOLanguageName
